Rightroots contribution effort
Rightroots has started a campaign encouraging conservatives to ahead and begin to pony up some dough for the Republicans...specifically the Presidential candidate(s). You can also inbed their widgett on any third party sites (if you have a blog or other website yourself) and encourage your visitors to pitch in as well.
Romney drops out
Romney announced that he's withdrawing from the race today via his speech to conservatives at the CPAC conference.
Mitt Romney told a conservative group briefly stunned silent by the news that he is suspending his bid for the Republican presidential nomination.

Super Tuesday
It's Super-Duper-Tuesday, and pretty soon we should have a better idea of whether someone's going to be able to end the nomination battle (of either party) early, or whether it will be drawn out over the next several weeks, or even months, (pundit heaven).

Florida marriage amendment makes the ballot
This is big:
The Florida Division of Elections announced over the weekend that it certified 649,346 signatures seeking to place the Florida Marriage Protection Amendment on the state's Nov. 4 ballot. Conservative activists collected 92,000 signatures in the last two weeks leading up to the Feb. 1 deadline to ensure they exceeded the 611,099 needed to place the measure on the ballot.

The folks in Florida working to get a marriage amendment on the ballot there this November are about 20,000 signatures short of what they need, with 2 weeks to go.
If you live in Florida, visit their site and download a petition and help out. We NEED this on the ballot down there this fall. Do what you can. And pass it on.
