Loathesome comments of Pelosi/Hoyer
Open Letter to Nancy Pelosi/Steny HoyerRegarding your recent comments accusing opponents of government run health care for America of being “un-American,” I find those comments beyond offensive. Coming from you, they are loathsome. Those “un-Americans” are the people you are supposed to be serving. You seek to prevent those “pesky” voters from speaking their minds and getting in the way of your steamroller agenda. Your attitude seems to be: Don’t they know what’s good for them? You should be ashamed.
At the town hall meetings last week rows of seats were roped-off near the front, reserved for ACORN and AARP, friends of the President's healthcare plan (Professionally printed signs can be seen.) Now the democrats condemn strong vocal opposition to the proposed healthcare plan as being "organized" by the right wing, and peopled by unruly and angry mobs, and Nazis bearing swastikas.
Lets talk about being un-American:
Trying to jam a socialized health care system down the throats of Americans, while retaining top shelf coverage for yourselves, your families and your union pals . That seems un-American to me.
Placing a government bureaucrat between people and their doctors. That seems un-American to me.
Promising taxpayers they can keep their own doctors and health plans, while you plan for the opposite. That seems un-American to me. read more »
