Corker
A Careful Eye
Post Election scurrying by RINO's and Dems alike should be watched
We are all aware of the RINO factor in Congress as well as the Blue Dogs. These 2 groups have no real principles in my book. Obviously one might be proud of the 43 Blue Dogs that voted for Shuler and against Pelosi but was it not an easy vote? Seriously, was any spine needed to cast that vote? Was the vote made on principle or convenience? Principle should have caused each and every one of these men & women to run away from Pelosi for the past 2-4 years. RINOs must be watched as well and Tea Party Conservatives should prepare to run against these folks as soon as their terms are up.
McConnell took far too long to get on the no earmark bandwagon. He is a Senator and the original purpose of the Senate was to look out for states' rights. It has obviously just become an extension of the House and that should be corrected especially as far as treaties are concerned (START). Anyhow he is a liberal Republican at best and 2 eyes must be on him at all times. Again it has been easy for him to say no for the past 2 years. His vote wasn't needed anyhow and his no made no real difference. Boehner had the same "option". Though I like Boehner I am concerned and was really hoping that a Tea Party candidate could get the Speakership but I'll give John a chance, one more that is.
Senator Alexander from Tennessee is quickly trying to cast himself as a conservative by lining up with an agenda and policies. PLEASE! We all no better and we need a good conservative candidate to replace him in a few years. He was a yes man for Bush and Bush was no conservative. Sen. Bob Corker isn't a conservative either but is trying his best to be seen as one. Currently he is running around the state holding town halls on debt reduction. That's all well and good Senator but didn't you vote for TARP & don't you maintain that you would vote for TARP again? read more »
