After all this time, it has to make me wonder why the President did not just release the birth certificate years ago, when the issue first arose. Is this just more of Obama's game playing?

I could care less about his birth certificate. The thing that concerned me was his blatant disregard for his promise to the American People of more “transparency” in government.

Once again, in his speech yesterday, his tone and rudeness toward the nation is unacceptable. He pretty much told every American that questioned his birth certificate that they were silly. I doubt that every person that questioned the validity of the birth certificate thinks their silly, since this was an idea planted by the President himself with his refusal to produce it.

And lets not forget his “more important things to do”, as he sped off from the press conference to catch a plane for a taping of “Oprah” and more re-election campaigning in New York City. Huh, with the debt crisis, rising inflation, three wars, unemployment increasing, gas and food prices, and his more important things to do is a talk show. Jeez, that's real leadership.

If the birth certificate issue is such a distraction from the real issues that face our nation then why is he still talking about it. From clips of the upcoming Oprah Show he is talking about it, and he continued to talk about it at the three fundraisers that he attended last night. Drop it. Move on, and start addressing the real issues that speeches are given about, but lack of viable solutions and complete lack of action and leadership is what our nation is receiving.  read more »
