As I understand it, American Presidents (and/or Americans) are not supposed to "bow" to other foreign leaders [2]. But this is the same guy who's protocol officer seems to be out-to-lunch when it comes to deciding what kind of gifts to give to other leaders such as Gordon Brown [3] or Queen Elizabeth [4]...or didn't know that it's bad form to touch the Queen [5] unless she initiates contact.
What a bunch of amatuers.
