POLITICAL SCANDAL OF ENERGY AND OIL
POLITICAL SCANDAL
OF
ENERGY AND OIL
I have long been intrigued by the energy that comes from oil. Oil is to a nation what food and fiber are to the human body. When children are denied food or chained to a bed we call it child abuse. When our politicians fail in their responsibility to provide adequate fuel for the economy we are told they have “Environmental concerns.” Energy is the passport to prosperity, fuel for the economy and national defense.
In January 04 my wife and I had the unexpected pleasure of being invited into the home of America’s first lady land man who had earned no small reputation in the oil industry. In due time I mentioned that “We were spending 2 billion annually trying to develop hydrogen fuel and 3.6 billion to reduce pollution from coal and that 5.6 billion would drill several thousand oil wells. Think what that would do for our economy, steel and trucking industries.”
Our flamboyant hostess laughingly replied, “You are exactly right but it will never happen in our lifetime.” When pushed for an answer I was told “It was all political.” Later it was further defined as lobbyist and environmentalist. As we proceed we will see beyond doubt or reason that our nation is being held hostage because our political leaders are more interested in their own vested environment at the public trough than the welfare of our nation.
In June 1975 I visited in the Washington office of Congressman George Mahon of Lubbock, Texas. Mr. Mahon was the chairman of the powerful Ways and Means Committee who just that week had delivered a “State of Energy” address to both houses of Congress. Mr. Mahon was extremely angry as he said “The congressmen from the northeast could care less about energy even though they pay less than we pay in Texas where it was produced.” It is interesting to note recent reports show gasoline can be bought in New Jersey cheaper than in Texas with no inconvenience that comes with drilling and refining and cluttering the landscape with drilling rigs and oil tanks.
Further idiotological environmental evidence was seen in the mid-nineties when a significant oil discovery was made close to Alamogordo, N.M. It was estimated to have a value of six hundred millions of dollars which would have been a significant boost to the economy of that area. Drilling for oil was denied because a small herd of he-goats crossed this area on the way to their mating grounds. It should be noted that he-goats, minnows, and reindeer always take precedence over the economy.
The most egregious and subversive blow to the economy of the United States in terms of catastrophic and strategic impact came at the hands of President Bill Clinton. The covert action of Mr. Clinton involved the executive order that set aside the 1.7 million acre Grand Staircase-Escalade National Monument in Utah in October of 1996. Included in this was the Kaiporowits Plateau coal and mineral find that was estimated by the New York Times to have a coal deposit that exceeded one trillion dollars in value as well as many millions of barrels of oil and rich deposits of other minerals. This production could have been brought online immediately with great financial benefit to our nations’ economy.
This vast source of energy would have brought hundreds of billions of dollars to our economy but was put off limits to American economic interests to protect the benefactors of the Democratic Party. The Lippo Group of communist descent owned and operated the only other coal mine in the world with valuable low sulfur content and this new discovery would be competitive to these special foreign friends and democratic contributors.
To gain further insight to the exploitation of energy we would do well to look at the record of the Carter administration and its insatiable appetite for taxing both the oil and gas industries to the tune of 5% of all oil and gas production. It was labeled a “Windfall profit tax.” Indeed it is a windfall but not for the property owners as the name implies but for the out-stretched hands of the greedy politicians. Instead, it is a windfall for the government as they have no investment in locating or producing the oil or gas and yet their grimy hands are waiting for the first 5% of the energy produced. When we speak of greedy oil companies it is worthy of note the government takes its 5% before the risk takers receive one cent on their investment. This is only the beginning of the fine art of taxation.
It is again worthy of note that we give no thanks to the producers of the energy that run the economy but instead blame them for the high priced privilege to use their precious products. Let there be no mistake, both the scarcity and high cost of energy are the direct result of a conspiracy to defraud our citizens and aid our enemy by not providing adequate supplies for our domestic needs.
For a detailed study of the work of the Doctors of Political Hypocrisy we would do well to visit the strip coal mines that are to be found in the midst of the beautiful east Texas tundra and are just a few bird miles from our home. Only recently did I drive close enough to actually behold the whole of the hole. Man-made mountains of mud and mire were visible as far as the eyes could see. The sounds of silence were deafening. Judging from the depths of devastation one would have expected to see hoards of huggers of trees protesting their demise. There was not one peep from a PETAfile to protest the loss of thousands of little creatures that had been displaced or killed. The habitats that had been home for countless generations of little creatures had been destroyed. I was profoundly shocked! Not one tree-hugger who dared to care was there.
I went home immediately and called a friend of thirty years who had retired from the Texas Railroad Commission. From his reference I learned that over two hundred and sixty thousand acres had been approved for strip coal mines in Texas alone as of 2004. It soon becomes quiet obvious there is a vast credibility gap when they show no concern for the creatures displaced by coal mining, and yet, when one speaks of drilling for oil in Alaska, the howls of foul can be heard round the world.
It soon becomes obvious the elite of the left do not care about the poor little animals or the Alaskan reindeer or the welfare of the blacks or anyone else. Neither do they care about the burden of high cost energy to the poor or the shortage of oil for our energy needs. Their sole goal is to hoodwink the dumb and the duped and take control.
At the peak of the last spike in oil prices I called my friend of fifty years who was the entrepreneurial godfather of city-sized truck stops that dotted the western states. He described our energy crisis as a “Scandal” and if the problem was not solved our nation would be bankrupt in ten years. The scandal of which I write is a work in progress by our enemies’ best friends who live, lie and die far to the left of right. It is quite obvious the “Environmental concerns” of which our congressmen speak are actually in regard to their continued presence at the public trough.
A recent check with a prominent west Texas retailer revealed a per gallon profit of 2 ½ to 11 cents depending on the grade. This is in contrast to the federal and state taxes of 38 cents per gallon. Combined profits of wholesalers and retailers pale in comparison to the obscene taxes levied by the politicians and the Jimmy Carter well-head tax.
We can only hope that our people wake up to the fact that the increasing cost of everything is due to the high cost of energy in raising crops and transporting them to market and this is brought about by irresponsible politicians that put their own welfare first. We would do well to send these parasitic politicians back home in a hurry.
On August 23, 2007 it was announced that the oil leases for acreage under the polar ice cap that were purchased by Shell Oil for approximately seventy three million dollars had been declared off limits for drilling for oil. It is of extreme interest that this act of treason was carried out by the judicial society of junkyard judges that act as co-conspirators to hijack our economy and national security.
The American Petroleum Institute showed a federal budget deficit of 102 billions of dollars in 2002 from imported oil which would be four to five hundred billion at today’s prices. This was written for the benefit of the dumb and the duped as they growl and howl of foul as gas prices continue to rise, and let the blame fall into the lap of the liberal left.
The final common sense summation for survival comes from the powerful word warrior General Jimmy Cash. “All Democrats, along with the Hollywood elite, are sending us headlong into defeat in the Middle East, which will give Iran dominance in the region. A lack of oil in the near future will be the final straw that dooms this Republic. However, if we refuse to let this happen and finally get serious about an energy self-sufficiency program, this can be avoided.”
“I am afraid, however, that we are going in the opposite direction. If we elect Hillary Clinton and a Democrat controlled congress, and they carry through with allowing Iran to take control of the Middle East, continue to refuse development of nuclear energy, refuse to allow for drilling for new oil, and continue to do nothing but oppose President Bush, it will be over in terms of what we view as the good life in the USA!!”
May the Lord God of Goodness save us from our enemy’s best friends here at home who
seem determined to destroy THE LAST GREAT HOPE OF THE WORLD!!

oil
I don't blame the Democrats. I blame the Republicans, a collection of charlatans who pretended to be conservatives but who were actually self interested moral cripples. We were duped like the followers of TV preachers who are sent by "God" to collect money. They were in power since 1994 and total power since 2001 and nothing.
