Obama steps in pig doody
This is just too hilarious. You just gotta love the headline guys over at the NY Post.
So what's all the fuss about? Well, in case you slept in all day yesterday and just woke up, Barry made the unfortunate mistake of seeming to make a sexist comment about Mrs. Sarah. And now he's paying for it.
And the GOP women are quick to pile on. From the WaPo:
"Senator Obama uttered what I can only describe to be disgusting comments, comparing our vice presidential nominee, Sarah Palin, to a pig," former Massachusetts governor Jane Swift declared in a conference call with reporters.
Even former Hillary backers are coming to Palin's defense in general. From the Politico:
The leaders of a women's political organization that launched earlier this year to support Hillary Clinton are speaking out against what they say are examples of media sexism toward Sarah Palin and urging members to tell the press corps "to back off."
WomenCount, a group co-founded by top Hillary fundraiser Susie Tompkins Buell, posted a lengthy item on their blog decrying questions over whether Palin can, as a mother of five, juggle her family responsibilities and still be vice president.
What's nice about the new political dynamic with Palin in the race is that Obama seems to find it necessary to spend most of his time going after her, (because nobody's paying attention to Biden I suppose), instead of focusing on McCain...which leaves McCain to be above it all while Barry looks like the guy who's picking on the girl. Bad place to be in American politics.
It just makes it too easy for the McCain folks to keep Obama on his heels...which is exactly what they've done. Check out the latest McCain web video below.
Beautiful.
For as long as the Dems (and the liberal media) have been jacking Republicans up against the wall over issues of imagined sexism, it's just nice to see our guys get a jab in for a change...and see the other guys so flummoxed as to how to deal with it.
