Obama; At War With America.
What they haven’t told you… the switchboards in the Capitol were melted down yesterday, and again today, as America gave voice to long pent up anger.
Congressional staffers were pushed to the limit, trying to justify wildly unpopular stands taken by some members over the debt and cost cutting issues, as scheme after scheme by the Republican leadership and that little RINO herd are revealed to be completely empty promises of massive cuts ‘over the next ten years’.
We have plenty to deal with sorting out our own party and its leadership, but we cannot for a second take our eyes off of the goal of removing the worst president in US history, Barack Hussein Obama.
All else aside, Obama’s defeat is, and will remain, the primary goal of Conservative Patriots… but in the process we’re going RINO hunting.

The Ugly Americans.
I’m not the only one that can’t seem to get over the really lame shenanigans that pass for decision and policy making in the nation’s capital.
I’m speaking, of course, of the Republican leadership and most particularly the Senate Republicans, who seem to me, at least, to be in full suck-up mode, tripping over each other in their efforts to lose whatever small strategic advantage we had regained since Boehner and company fell for Obama’s first budget and reduction gambits back in January and February.
That should have been a harbinger of things to come, because every single time we’ve had Obama on the mat they’ve let him back up and we lose a little more credibility. We elected warriors… we got wimps. These people are afraid of their own shadows. They are too timid to fight. They are too timid to stand up for this country, its Constitution, its principles and its people.
The sheer ineptitude of the Republican leadership is demonstrated by their seeming inability to weld a cohesive message and one clear concise policy on the debt and government binging.
This madness has to stop, and stop now. None of us sees a bit of humor out here. All I see is anger… a growing, seething anger, with more and more people speaking out and voicing their displeasure with the Republican establishment who has once again managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. read more »
Is It A Sell – Boehner – Out – McConnell – Sell – Cantor – Out – Coburn – Sell – Jordan – Out?
Once upon an election, we entrusted the Republican leadership with guiding our nation away from the yawning abyss that Barack Obama has built. I’ve been watching the incredible circus which has characterized the debt ceiling and ‘spending cut’ negotiations so far. It’s incredible to watch all of these RINO sellouts fall all over themselves to give ObaMao and his lackeys everything they want.
What is astonishing to me is that this is after all the smoke and mirrors are peeled away, and America gets to see just what an immense rip-off of our children’s futures is being crafted, as usual, mostly behind closed doors.
Equally astonishing is that these respective lawmakers are purposefully making themselves deaf to the absolute cacophony of very pointed protest coming from the now over 75 per cent of the American people who don’t want an increase in the debt ceiling.
It seems that the RINOs of the Republican leadership have all shown us their true colors, which from where I’m sitting seem to be various shades of yellow.
Mark Levin came out yesterday and said we should primary their asses. Whoops, that won’t fly on some of my affiliates so we’ll say something safely generic like ‘butts’. read more »
Moody’s: “Don’t Call Our Bluff!”
Last week Moody’s Investors Service threatened to downgrade the U.S.’s Aaa credit rating if the nation fails to raise its $14.3 trillion debt ceiling before August 2. On Monday the agency counseled the U.S. to scrap its debt ceiling altogether.
Standard & Poors (S&P) and Fitch, the other two major credit rating agencies, have recently echoed Moody’s warning.
Democrats pounced on Moody’s pronouncement as ammunition in Congressional budget talks, citing Moody’s as an unimpeachable source on what to do with our debt ceiling.
Why is anyone listening to what Moody’s has to say about the economy?
Moody’s, S&P, and Fitch are the same credit rating agencies that helped precipitate the subprime lending crisis of 2008. These bureaus continued to give large financial institutions their highest ratings until the last minute, despite the flimsy cores of these firms’ collateralized debt obligations and mortgage-backed securities. Moody’s and company thought the Democrats’ Community Reinvestment Act was a splendid idea, with the result that millions of investors lost billions of dollars and the international market collapsed. read more »
Sick And Tired.
We’ve been doing this column for two and a half years now. The driving force and the inspiration for skipmaclure.us is my editor, Dee. She’s the unsung hero behind the scenes that makes this whole thing work.
Like myself, she has a full time career, making this conservative outreach a labor of love. Dee’s a rare creature. She’s a rock-solid conservative in a country that has surrendered itself to the opiate of government cradle-to-grave entitlements, known as socialism. I’ve learned much from her about the nuts and bolts of everyday life under the ‘soft tyranny’ which is the British social welfare system.
She has related stories to me such as entire extended families, none of whom has ever held a paying job. The ‘dole’ has become trans-generational. You have more and more people in the UK living off of smaller and smaller productive segments of society. It brings to mind something that the ‘Iron Lady’ Margaret Thatcher said, “The problem with socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people’s money”.
European style socialism is communism light. By its very nature it lacks the fierce entrepreneurial spirit that has imbued the people of America with the indomitable will to achieve, and instead drowns the people in a deluge of government regulation and ever increasing demands for more and more taxes, a crushing burden on citizens and the economy. Beginning to sound familiar? read more »
The Republicans’ D-Day… Live Free…
The time is here. This is the defining moment of this Congress and these leaders. Fully seventy percent of the American people do not want an increase in the debt limit.
MaoBama has all the little Marxists scattering throughout the beltway, desperately attempting to change the narrative. Increasingly exposed before America and the world as the feckless, incompetent idealogue he is, Barack Hussein Obama has painted himself and his Marxists into a corner.
The most recent Gallup and Rasmussen polls both show any generic Republican defeating Obama in the 2012 presidential race by five to eight points, and counting. Increasing numbers of disaffected voters identifying themselves as Democrats are leaving the fold, along with increasing numbers of other ‘safe’ ObaMao constituents such as the so-called ‘security moms’, who flocked to his Plastic Banana Good Time Rock an’ Roll image (thanks, Rush), so carefully crafted to deceive unwary Americans.
MaoBama is in deep water, and his Marxist followers know it. Every DeMarxist stunt in their really worn playbook has been pulled out with entirely predictable frequency every time the Anointed One has stubbed his toe. In fact, they’ve dragged these straw ponies out (smelling strongly of dead fish) so many times that virtually no one except the statists of the Lame Stream Media and the extreme leftist radicals even pay attention to it anymore. read more »
Leftists Plot Materialistic Afterlife
Futurist Ray Kurzweil, Former Vice President Al Gore, and Bill Maher are scheduled to take part in an all-star panel discussion titled "Transcendent Man” broadcast to select theaters across America.
The forum will in part discuss the merging of man and machine for the purposes of indefinitely extending the human lifespan.
No doubt listening to Al Gore drone on and on will definitely make it feel like an eternity has elapsed.
Apparently, overcrowding isn't the pending calamity he often makes it out to be. That is unless of course, his friends in the New World Order are planning a culling of the human herd.
Other than a profound hatred of God and a contempt for those that believe in an omnipotent creator, what qualifications does Bill Maher posses to speak as an authority figure on such an ethically complex subject?
The fool has said in his heart that there is no God.
How else does it explain that an individual can belittle the prospect of Heaven in one breath and then grasp at straws in the hopes of delaying the inevitable by either hooking oneself up to a ghastly array of machines or somehow electrochemically uploading the memories we have accumulated our few brief years upon the earth as some kind of accumulated database that might eventually animate some android duplicate of our own visage?
G.K. Chesterton is said to have quipped that the danger when we no longer believe in God is not that we won’t believe in anything but rather that we will end up believing in anything.

Casey Anthony’s New Tattoo: “The System Worked!”
Casey Anthony is set to be released from jail on Sunday after being found not guilty of first-degree murder, aggravated manslaughter, and aggravated child abuse, and guilty only of providing false information to police.
What was astonishing about the public reaction to the verdict last week was not that ordinary citizens were outraged, wondered whether prosecutors and jurors had done their jobs, or asked whether there were still some way to serve justice to the acquitted murderess.
What was astonishing was the instant, instinctive chorus of chronic felon-defenders everywhere that “the system worked.”
Harvard law professor and O.J. Simpson-defender Alan Dershowitz decided that this travesty of justice would be the perfect opportunity to lecture Americans, Janet Napolitano-style, that “the system worked.” (Liberals’ sense of irony is even less developed than their sense of humor.)
Dershowitz wrote, “[A] criminal trial is not a search for truth. Scientists search for truth… A criminal trial searches for only one result: proof beyond a reasonable doubt.” I suppose the hours of scientific testimony by forensic experts at the Anthony trial were provided for mere entertainment value.
Commentators everywhere chided the masses for swelling in anger over the “not guilty” verdict and portrayed them as overemotional, unthinking rubes with no respect for our legal system and a hankering for the days of vigilante justice. read more »
Republicans Have This One Last Chance.
It’s really too bad. All it would have taken was one Republican leader to step up and throw this whole mess back in Barack Hussein Obama’s face, where it belonged in the first place. Just one leader with some testosterone. Instead, we get the ‘lets make a deal’ crew all over again.
We know that Congress is being bombarded by deluges of angry patriots, voicing their displeasure with John Boehner and Mitch McConnell. Yesterday, the Annoyed One stormed out of a meeting with the Republican leadership, telling them ‘not to call his bluff’… which, of course, is exactly what they should do.
Good gravy, you’d think they’d have figured it out by now. It’s sort of like this. Where goeth the Tea Party Patriots, so goeth the nation. I don’t think that that’s much of an exaggeration either. They would never have attained the majority in the House without what we did to put them there.
Therein, as they say, lies the rub. No matter what sort of cockamamie sell-out scheme these two timid creatures come up with, there are at least one hundred Representatives who have stated unequivocally that they will not vote for any debt increase under any circumstances.
Would somebody please tell me why anyone would want to give the Marxists of Barack Obama’s regime one more dime to pee away, pumping up unions and union jobs, on more bureaucrats and regulation, and more poison and venom to be pumped into the economy? read more »
McConnell Sell Out.
Just had that feeling… I wrote about it yesterday… I’ve learned to trust my inner genie. The Senate Republicans have attempted to usurp the more than 70% of the American people and the Republican dominated House, whose stubborn refusal to cave to the pressure of the Republican establishment and do another sell-out compromise with the statists of the Obama regime has resulted in Mitch McConnell’s so called last ditch ‘backup plan’.
Its brilliance lies in its simplistic stupidity… Let Obama set his own debt ceiling. Absolute genius. That’s like giving a junkie the deed to an opium factory. Mitch’s RINO reasoning goeth thusly… If we let Obama raise his own debt limit, all the little people out there will see what a baad man Obama really is and will flock to the squishy Republican ‘moderation’ zone.
I like what Erick Erickson of Redstate called it… ‘the Pontius Pilate Pass the Buck Act of 2011?. That pretty well sums it up for me, too. I knew John Boehner was involved here as well, with his comment ‘We should have a backup plan’. Yeah, John… the backup plan is to say no!
In the meantime, while these two are bleating about ‘backup this and backup that’, ‘Barack the Destroyer’ is out there lying through his eyeteeth, doing his best to panic and stampede the nation’s seniors, saying that he didn’t know if there would be money in the coffers for Social Security and disability checks. That’s a lie in and of itself. Checks to Social Security and disability recipients are not, and never were, in danger. Neither are payments to the military. read more »
Don’t Cave!
Well… the Republican leadership is. Leading, I mean. At least, at present. Boehner has stuck to our guns and told Obama to chew an old sock… No tax increases.
Okay, but don’t fault me for feeling a bit cautious and, truth be known, skeptical as well. I have seen the Republicans with strong hands, only to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory too many times to get giddy about this crew, in any case. John Boehner is not exactly the lion of the right, no matter how much we want him to be.
I think of Boehner and I think of back door deal-making… and the establishment ‘don’t rock the boat’ and ‘we know better than you do’ attitude that so many of us have come to detest. One of the reasons the Tea Party and Citizen Patriot movements came into being to start with.
I think perhaps Eric Cantor is a bit closer to the ‘rebellious’ freshman class. Those 71 principled patriots unexpectedly resisted the blandishments of the party hacks from both sides, and not a few threats from various sources, to become a force of their own in the 112th Congress.
But keep in mind, Eric is himself a product of the establishment, though his performance in these critical times thus far has been exemplary. I’ve heard him described as “A young man in a hurry”. Fine. As long as he tows the conservative banner with him. read more »
Timothy Geithner – The Elmer Fudd Of Economics.
Actually, there’s a strain of Chicken Little there too…’The sky is falling, the sky is falling’. It’s the left’s Rocky Horror Show, complete with a gallery of freaks that would make the Rocky cast jealous. It’s the full press of all the Marxists in the government to terrify the American people and stampede the Congressional Republicans into agreeing to raise the debt limit.
Timothy Geithner is a classic example of the incompatibility of the leftist ‘econo-ideologue’ and the American capitalist system. His public advocation of Keynesian economic principles has shown everyone with the wits to see that this man, former head of the New York Fed, little understands what actually drives the economic engine which is America.
The debt is impossibly high and the Fed has pumped billions upon billions of absolutely worthless dollars (meaning borrowed) into a small selected sector of the economy, meaning of course the banks, who instead of having to pay for their collusion in the sub-prime mortgage disasters, were rewarded by the government, who had mandated the sale of sub-prime instruments by the investment banks in the first place. Very few of these guys had their hands clean. Geithner was instrumental in seeing to it that these ‘friends of Obama’ were taken care of. It’s the largest political payoff and money laundering scheme in history. read more »
David Plouffe And The Hallucinogenic Pipe Dream.
I’ve been wondering if that paragon of White House fable fabrication may be on lysergic acid… obviously slipped into his cornflakes by a stealth Tea Party type bent on destroying the Wrong House narrative.
The spin just won’t fly any more. We keep hearing the misadministration’s grandiose statements, just chock full of loaded and misleading terminology. No matter how many times they bleat their Marxist diatribe, no matter how often they disguise their true intent with the language of obfuscation… nothing but nothing will put lipstick on this pig.
Mr Plouffe has announced, “People will not be voting based on the unemployment figures in 2012?. Excuse me while I say, “What?” What universe spawned people like Plouffe and the legion of Obama apologists? Wait! That must be the answer. It’s an alien invasion (another one) and they’ve taken over the administration… lock, stock and vacation schedule.
Eight million jobs lost since the Anointed One assumed his throne. I heard an outrageous statement by some brain-damaged hack that new layoffs had virtually come to a halt. This dude hasn’t been out to California lately, has he? We’re still shedding jobs and businesses at a frightening rate. He threw that desperate thread out there as a ‘comforting indicator’ of the ‘recovery’. Excuse me? I should do an entire article on that alone… great title opportunity, too… “The Recovery That Barack Built”. read more »
The Halperin Hullabaloo
An MSNBC analyst called Obama a BLEEP. As spineless as the President is, one shouldn't be so sure he should be categorized as anything so distinctively male.
In the sex-dominated culture of the leftist media, wouldn't calling Obama a BLEEP actually be the highest possible compliment?
Calling Obama a male appendage is no worse than calling anyone else that.
The President is owed no more verbal deference than anybody else.
White House propagandists insist it's inappropriate to refer to any President as a BLEEP. Are you really going to tell me no one ever giggled at the double entnde of referring to Nixon as "Tricky Dick". Or that Clinton was only called "Slick Willy" because of his political acumen and not his philanderous nature.
If the President is this sensitive as to be profoundly disturbed by a single reporter enunciating a reaction to what was definitely not the rhetorical high point of Obama’s public career, how can this President ever hope to stand up to Al Qaeda, the Red Chinese or the Russians?
So long as you don't threaten violence, it is not the concern of the White House how you refer to any president.
How come our ears will shatter if we hear Obama referred to as a BLEEP but there isn't second thought about sending out more information over the airwaves regarding feminine hygiene products and male erectile dysfunction than most members of the respective opposite sexes ever cared to know?
Why on MSNBC is it deemed an outrage to refer to Obama as a "BLEEP but referring to conservatives as "teabaggers" is worthy of a hearty chuckle? read more »
Obama’s America in Black & White
Black political segregation, nurtured by the policies of the 1960s, has only hardened in the Obama years.
Obama is and always has been a hardened, bare-knuckled veteran of the culture wars, who not only pursues racial divisions among Americans for political gain but personifies the stark differences in political attitudes between whites and blacks. It was as obvious in 2008 as it is now that electing a man who describes a sermon containing the passage “white people’s greed runs a world in need” as the formative moment in his spiritual life would guarantee a period of unusual social bitterness and resentment.

It’s All Up To Us Now.
It’s a long way from 1776 and the momentous decision made by courageous and determined men to put aside the oppressive yoke of olde worlde monarchic dynasty and create a fledgling nation consecrated in free men’s blood.
The 56 signatories to the Declaration of Independence were fully well aware that their lives were definitely on the line. The British were not known for leniency, and a charge of high treason against the person of King George the Third was a quick trip to a hanging or worse. Five of the signatories of the Declaration of Independence were tortured to death by the British.
Both British regulars and colonial loyalist militias were accused of atrocities against the colonists, which only served to enrage the Americans even farther. The point is that every single person associated with the revolution was under the threat of death. This wasn’t some high flown political theory… this was right now in real time.
There was no one to help them… they were on their own. By a fortuitous accident of history, the French King saw an opportunity to stick his thumb in King George’s eye later in the war. The influx of men and material enabled the colonialists to ultimately triumph.
Today, we have much the same situation with Barack Hussein Obama and his gang of Marxists. This may be the new American revolution… we’re in a fight to the finish with an entire government and every single person who chooses to identify as a DeMarxist. We’re not simply setting out to win an election, though no one will deny that this is an election we cannot lose. read more »
Casey Anthony’s Defense: I Was “Trained to Lie”!
The Casey Anthony murder trial is the most depressing case currently working its way through the American court system, not just for the shocking and horrifying actions alleged, but for the way in which it embodies the prevalent left-wing worldview of phony victimhood.
All evidence suggests that 22-year-old Florida mother Casey Anthony killed her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony, so she could resume the hard-partying lifestyle she enjoyed before she accidentally got pregnant with and gave birth to Caylee.
According to prosecutors, Anthony coldly, methodically drugged her daughter with chloroform, covered her mouth with duct tape to asphyxiate her, stuffed her dead body in a plastic bag, stowed it in the trunk of her car, concocted an elaborate series of lies to tell authorities and family regarding Caylee’s absence, and later dumped her daughter’s body in a swamp.
Anthony’s attorneys’ brilliant defense against the mass of forensic evidence the prosecutors presented to support their case was that Caylee actually fell in the family’s above-ground swimming pool and drowned—a claim for which they offered not a drop of physical evidence. The accident happened due to neglect from Anthony which, they argued, was justified because she had suffered sexual abuse at the hands of her father.
In fact, the claim of sexual abuse was betrayed by such a complete lack of evidence during the trial that the judge refused to even let the defense utter it again in their closing arguments.
Defense attorneys couldn’t explain why Anthony would cover up an accidental death rather than call 911, why Anthony’s father would help cover up the death of his beloved granddaughter, why Anthony’s car’s trunk had traces of chloroform in it, or why Caylee’s skull had rotting strips of duct tape over its mouth and nose. read more »
Chris Wallace – Hero Or Heel?
That it was another brutal work week can be testified to by the absence of articles on my part. It’s a statement of the times were are living through that just having all of our crews working counts as a huge success. We’ve slashed our rates to the bone and are taking a much lower profit margin (whoops, there’s the left’s mantra… evil profit) just to get the work in to keep our people busy.
I know one contractor who told me that he had taken several jobs virtually at cost, just to keep his people employed. We consoled each other, noting that our respective doors remained open and that there are many companies who are no longer around at all.
This obviously has nothing at all to do with Chris Wallace and his unpardonable treatment of GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann. I’ve never much cared for Chris Wallace for a number of reasons, some of which I’ll address in this article.
I have an abiding love for real, factual and substantiated news reporting by historically grounded, unbiased reporters and commentators. I used to think that Mr Wallace was at least somewhat fair and unbiased. That illusion was dispelled when, at the tail end of an exclusive interview with Michele Bachmann, he played one of journalism’s cheapest and most tawdry stunts… he posited the totally unwarranted and obnoxious question, “Are you a flake?” read more »
California Dreaming.
For those of you who are fortunate enough to live in a state wherein sanity yet abides, count your blessings. The downward spiral of California predates this and several other recessionary periods. It goes all the way back to our present Governor Moonbeam’s father, the late Governor Edmund G.’Pat’ Brown… liberal Democrat, of course.
The state’s sob sisters managed to virtually empty the state’s mental hospitals, utilizing Assembly Bill 691. This bill was signed into effect by Governor Brown, though Governor Ronald Reagan was to take the rap for it. The bill’s original purpose was, as all liberally conceived schemes are, written and signed with all of the greatest of good intentions.
Initially, AB 691 was to remove the some 13,500 patients suffering from ‘mental retardation’ and place them in group home settings. Unfortunately, some people who probably would have best functioned in an institutional setting were also released. As time went on, many other patients suffering from various mental disorders were released as well. It proved impossible to control these folks in the communities and many can be found in homeless encampments… or on the streets.
The liberal march to the sixties and the communist-inspired revolutions in our colleges turned the society on its ear, as Vietnam played out to its tragic conclusion, with cowardly US politicians literally snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. read more »
Headline Potpourri #21: NYT Phrenologists, Mr. Turtle Shackled, & Rampaging Huffington
A New York Times correspondent insists that Americans living in the middle of the country have sloping foreheads. Weren't the Nazis also obsessed with equating cranial shape with intelligence?
The Washington Post labeled Glenn Beck as a "creature" in regards to his pending rally in Israel. I thought bastions of tolerance such as the Post use to warm that such linguistic dehumanization was the first step taken by the Nazis.
Since the average American is no longer able to go much of anywhere because of gas prices, environmentalists are now set to declare against home entertainment devices. It is claimed that these machines use too much electricity. Before it's all over with, they will probably summarily execute those of us wearing eye glasses and march everyone else out to toil in the rice paddies. It will likely fall under Frau Obama's "Let's Move" campaign.
Arianna Huffington heralds rampaging mobs as "democratic". When this Communist rabble comes to loot her wealth, will she still feel as cheerful?
Is it that kiddy pools represent a threat to the youth of America or is this about creating a panic to justify a new revenue source when the permits required for large pools are extended to shackle Mr. Turtle?
The Zero Seconds Initiative insists that is how long a child should be left alone in a car. While this sounds enlightened, given the way other kinds of zero tolerance policies are enforced such as those banning plastic utensils in school cafeterias, are cops & bureaucrats on powertrips going to charge parents as negligent if the trip from the front of the car to the back takes more than one second?
If natural disasters in America are the result of the U.S. government backing a two state solution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict as certain theologians insist, why do these tragedies strike the heartland of the country where the common folk have virtually no sway over foreign policy rather than a particular building in Foggy Bottom. You'd think an omnipotent God would have better aim.
CNN asked presidential candidates Coke or Pepsi. There will be neither when we are all living in FEMA slave camps.
Bob Ehrlich operatives that utilized robocallers to deceive Maryland Democrats into not voting could get decades in prison. Black Panthers that actually threatened at polling places those not voting for Obama were set free and likely continued to receive any assortment of public assistance programs.
Miracle Grow has been linked to pot cultivation. So will consumers be required to have their photo ID's verified to purchase the chemical the way we are in regards to nasal decongestants?
New Yorkers should be more concerned about Commissar Bloomberg curtailing basic gastronomical liberties such salt levels rather than how Sarah Palin decides to eat a slice of pizza.
If parents are not allowed to spank children according to one Texas judge, then why should bailiffs or deputies be allowed to use physical force if a litigant in that particular judge’s courtroom gets out of line?
Since most stadiums employ facial recognition recording technology, the Immigration Service should deport every single person that booed the American team in favor of the Mexicans at the soccer match in LA.
If the USA isn't good enough to cheer for in a soccer match, don't leech off America economically (especially if that entails some kind of public assistance handout).
