Happy birthday America!

If you haven't yet today, take a moment and read through the complete text of our Delcaration of Independence. It's a good way to cleanse your political palette and put things in perspective.

You don't have to look too far to understand how good we have it here in this country. Heck, just being able to maintain a blog and vent on the issues of the day is to put one's life in jeopardy in some countries. So take some time today and appreciate what we have. Forgetting to appreciate what you have is the quickest way to lose it.
