Obama’s America in Black & White
Black political segregation, nurtured by the policies of the 1960s, has only hardened in the Obama years.
Obama is and always has been a hardened, bare-knuckled veteran of the culture wars, who not only pursues racial divisions among Americans for political gain but personifies the stark differences in political attitudes between whites and blacks. It was as obvious in 2008 as it is now that electing a man who describes a sermon containing the passage “white people’s greed runs a world in need” as the formative moment in his spiritual life would guarantee a period of unusual social bitterness and resentment.

Five Arguments Against Gay Marriage
New York State, the media report with poorly disguised elation, is set to legally redefine marriage to include relationships between two same-sex adults.
Before this happens, people of good conscience, supporters and opponents both, should at least be given the opportunity to consider the possible consequences.
Media Ignores Charlie Sheen's Politics
I’ve been trying to avoid the Charlie Sheen issue, but I’m too bothered by the media’s turpitude to keep silent. Does anyone writing for a mainstream news agency realize that in 2006 Charlie Sheen appeared on the popular Jimmy Kimmel Live show to accuse President Bush and the U.S. government of carrying out and covering up the terrorist attacks on the Pentagon and the World Trade Center towers in 2001? You wouldn’t know it from reading recent reports or from watching Dateline NBC’s hour-long show on Sheen’s emotional decline.

"Global Warming" in the schools
I live in a wonderful suburban community on Long Island. My three children attend the excellent public schools in our district. As the two oldest children have made their way through middle school, though, I've been bothered by the rather flimsy instruction they've received on the subject of "global warming." Both my 14 year-old daughter and 11 year-old son have been shown Al Gore's movie An Inconvenient Truth in sixth grade, but have been given nothing to suggest that some of the information in the movie is either controversial or misleading. So I've decided to put together this bullet point compendium of information discussing the current status of the "global warming" debate.

Push Back Against Multiculturalism Continues
Multiculturalism is a cloak for moral relativism and non-judgmentalism, says Wall St. Journal Article
There is another “must read.” A few days ago I reported (below) that British Prime Minister David Cameron pronounced at a Munich conference that “State Multiculturalism Has Failed.” Today there appears in the Wall Street Journal an excellent column explaining the west’s “awakening” to this tragic experiment called “multiculturalism,” which is really a cloak for “moral relativism” and “non-judgmentalism.” All links and commentary at www.mrformansplanet.com
State Multiculturalism Fails in Britain, Says Prime Minister
Britain Waking Up to Threat faster than America
STATE MULTICULTURALISM HAS FAILED, SAYS BRITISH PRIME MINISTER DAVID CAMERON
It looks like Europe may be waking up to the Islamist threat to liberty and democracy faster than America. That’s disappointing to me. But at least some portions of the free world aren’t completely brain dead. You’ll recall on October 18, 2010, German Chancellor Angela Merkel made headlines by denouncing “multiculturalism” in Germany as having “failed utterly.” Now Cameron has some choice words for the morally confused. SOTU: Obama is Petulant, Petty, and Hypocritical
For someone who is constantly lauded for his brilliance and high-mindedness, and who himself seems never to stop talking about bipartisanship and unity, President Obama never fails to be petulant, petty, hyper-partisan and, most problematically, hypocritical.
After insisting at the outset of the speech that “we will move forward together, or not at all -- for the challenges we face are bigger than party, and bigger than politics” and that “we are part of the American family,” Obama once again set out to demonize a part of that America, the evil producers of 90 percent of our energy, the oil companies. “I don't know if -- I don't know if you've noticed,” Obama snarked, “but they're doing just fine on their own,”after demanding we eliminate unspecified “subsidies” for oil and give them to energy producers hand picked by Obama himself.

"Tone Down the Rhetoric?" Liberals are Losing Their Monopoly
Apparently, liberals are offended only when blunt talk is used to burrow through the verbal artifice they’ve constructed to protect their generally unpopular ideas. Notice that liberals thrive in institutions where the linguistic architecture of "political correctness" can be protected by harsh rules or by monopoly (universities, public schools), or where political messages can be folded into images or language designed for other purposes (entertainment, news).
